Items in WHO Nov 6, 2017: Ioan Gruffudd, Osher Gunsberg, 'Thor: Ragnarok'

The only time I could speak to Ioan Gruffudd was at 11.30 pm on a Monday night. Well of course I said 'yes'! Here is that chat, along with one with Bachelorette host Osher Gunsberg, and a review of Thor: Ragnarok.

Back Chat in WHO Sep 25, 2017: Danielle Macdonald

With an extraordinary performance in the film Patti Cake$, Australian actress Danielle Macdonald is one to watch. I was glad to meet her and get to know her before her inevitable rise. Also in this Back Chat are items I wrote about Game of Thrones stars in ads, Lady Gaga's Little Mermaid-inspired costumes and three G2G items.

An interview with Luc Besson, WHO Aug 21, 2017

It's not often in life you get to meet someone who made something very important to you, but I got to express to director Luc Besson how much The Big Blue meant to me in high school. He responded in an appreciative and personal way. Love.

'Voice Australia' winner Judah Kelly salutes coach Delta Goodrem

In a showdown between two soulful voices on July 3, 2017, Team Delta's Judah Kelly earned more votes than Team Boy George's Hoseah Partsch and was crowned the season 6 champ of 'The Voice Australia.' I caught up with the winner the next day, and my interview can be read here

Judah Kelly sings his 'winner's' song, 'Count On Me,' on 'The Voice Australia' finale July 3. The track became the No. 1 song on Australian iTunes the next day.

Items in Who June 29, 2017: Darren McMullen, Rob Collins and Sam Frost

I first spoke to Darren McMullen when I was at People and he was in the US hosting Love In the Wild for NBC. Now I am the one in Sydney and he is the one living in LA when I speak to him about Australian series Behave Yourself on Channel 7. Small world, right? More of our chat is online here. Following his chat is one with Cleverman actor Rob Collins, whose humour is deliciously dry. Then, in Hot Topics, Australia has been following the off-screen love life of radio personality Sam Frost, the country's first Bachelorette. We updated her story this week, which was linked to by our fellow Pacific Mags weekly New Idea.

Ricky Whittle breaks through on 'American Gods,' Who.com, June 26, 2017

On the eve of watching the last episode of American Gods's first season, I had a chance to talk to the actor who plays Shadow Moon, Ricky Whittle. He did not disappoint. To read the interview, click here. I've excerpted some of it in the captions below the photos below.

On becoming Shadow Moon, the central figure of Neil Gaiman's 2001 novel American Gods, Whittle says, "It's not just picking up any fictional character. it's almost like doing a biography now. You know, I'm Daniel Day-Lewising the heck out of it beca…

Whittle says he and Ian McShane (left, as Mr Wednesday) engage in a bit of a pranking contest on the set of the series. According to Whittle, "I think we're pretty even at the moment. I keep using his trailer when he's not in and then sending him videos of me using his toilet or lying in his bed and watching his TV. Stealing his contents of his fridge is another one of my faves as well. He gets really fancy water. There's no need! There's no need — bring normal water like the rest of us. We're in Canada, the water's fine, you don't need the fancy bottled water, but he's Ian McShane, he's fancy." Photo courtesy of Amazon Prime Video.
