Post-Logies coverage is a team effort. I contributed interviews with the Wentworth cast, Penny McNamee, Lucy Zelic and Craig Foster, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, and Kelly Rowland, while writing up my own chats with the Mystery Road team, Costa Georgiadis and Kerry O’Brien. Also, I tease the finale of Harrow and the latest episode of Wentworth.
The cover touts our Gold Logie nominee chats, of which I did three (see the Telling Stories section for those interviews with Tom Gleeson, Waleed Aly and Costa Georgiadis). Also, I was able to fit in more from my interview with Todd Sampson for the second episode of the 2019 season of Body Hack.
My first time on the Gold Coast, and the TV WEEK staff couldn’t have been treated nicer by the folks at The Star Gold Coast. I got a chance to interview a few Gold Logie nominees and other honourees, and wrote the caps for our preview story in the magazine.
Here's my recap of Broadway's biggest night.
Soundtrack of My Life has to be one of the best briefs in the business, and for this issue, I got to speak to Thompson Twins founder Tom Bailey. I also got in a Last Word with The Good Doctor's Antonia Thomas, and turned around an on-location ARIAs red-carpet story on the day we closed the issue. Good times, good times.
What a week! I delve back into the awards show lane with a summary of the Teen Choice Awards, then wrap up celebrity news with Cara Delevingne and Jamie Morton, plus the other items in Back Chat. And then, review Top of the Lake: China Girl.
Here are the events I wrote about in Hot Topics for this week (issue date July 3, 2017)
Living in Australia makes me see just how unique the Great White Way is to America, but I love the exuberance of it nonetheless!
