Foxtel Magazine
New decade, new magazine! Editor Erin McWhirter let me reunite with journalist Jenny Cooney to produce some stories previewing new content on cable and streaming provider Foxtel in Australia. Eventually, I also did research and interviews of my own for several memorable stories and smaller, bite-sized pieces, too. Eventually, I worked with editor Carolyn Hiblen as well. All in all, a fabulous experience.

Bridget Everett: Living Out Loud
Alas, Foxtel Magazine is now a thinner, listings-focused publication now. But before my last researched piece previewing What We Do in the Shadows for the July 2023 issue, I got to do a very enjoyable Zoom interview with Bridget Everett for the excellent HBO series Somebody Somewhere.

Uli Latukefu: Ready to Rumble!
Celebrating Australian talent has been a big part of this later phase of my career. How great to do so with someone achieving success in the US! Thank you, Uli, for your time and thoughtful responses. And a bonus: I also had a lot of fun for this issue doing This Or That, plus summing up a cooking series. That variety makes Foxtel magazine a freelancer’s dream.

The Walking Dead: A to Z
I have not done a press junket in a long time, let alone an international one via Zoom! But the AMC folks organised a wonderful rotating session for this stalwart series to preview the start of Season 11. Most of my pieces went online, but here is the anchor feature in Foxtel.
